ELECTROFISHING BACK PACKS DESIGNED AND BUILT BY DR ALEC WORTLEY 22 YEARS AGO STILL GOING STRONG!

These back packs are lightweight and very reliable some are even 22 years old. They were originally built in Wolverhampton by Dr Alec Wortley and have been reconditioned for the  Bush River Salmon Station in May 2014. They will be used during the summer of 2014.
An updated 2014-5 model of the same lightweight machine is now available type FC320GPS40-3 with both Pulsed and Smooth DC outputs featuring twin output ranges of 0 to 200 volts and 0 to 400 volts, Set smooth DC and set Pulsed DC with selector switches for Low and High voltage ranges and Smooth or Pulsed DC outputs, and controls for setting voltage output and Pulse width as well as power on, fishing on indicators, buzzer, tilt and float safety switches, 2 sets of batteries, 2 chargers, anode and cathode. The control box is fitted with an output voltmeter scaled 0 to 400 volts, a battery condition meter, and Stop and Start buttons. Also the set can be used as a bankside model if required with a long cable anode. In this case a bankside/back pack selector switch is fitted and the anode is supplied with long and short cables to enable either type of operation to be accommodated.
